yeah, old boy Slim used to do that t me all the time. he got his name from being so damn thin I felt sorry for him there in the pound. damn dog could slip thru the damn fence (old iron type) but that changed in 2 months as he filled out . yup. all 110 pounds of roadie ridgeback. still thought he was a puppy and wanted to climb into your lap whenever he could. we still miss him. dave in pa.
Starker here, When my second was 6 weeks old we chose a black lab puppy. Our rules for Max, the lab, were 1st floor only, not allowed on furniture, no laps & no jumping. My wife's uncle stayed with us shortly after that for about 5mo. He's calling Max onto the couch and his lap. We had to keep saying no to both. He'd say, "He's just a small puppy" I kept saying "Nobody wants an 80 lb lap dog!" I was only slightly off, 85 lbs of muscle & love. We used to tell my son that Max was his twin brother.
Looks similar to my Rocky. Same negro soulfull look in the eyes. All 80 pounds of his blaqck ass. OG
ReplyDeleteI get the same look from that asshole dog Jack.

Hug them all, everything that you love. Got a real bad feeling about things.
ReplyDeleteWe are listening to the same station; things are not as they seem and we are headed down a dark road.
DeleteRoger that, Dave. I've been running war games and outcomes in my mind a lot lately.
DeleteWe don't deserve the affection of dogs.
ReplyDeleteI miss my dog... *sniff. Sorry, allergies.
ReplyDeleteBless you; there are many unloved pups that need a home.
DeleteYep, lots of dogs in need of love and a forever home. Go get one, it’ll be good for both of you.
DeleteSo much love

My 90 lb Angel gives me the same look every time I share my lap with her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little pup. But those bright orange claws on mama are a red flag.
