Home Sweet Ho..... er, pile of rubble

A woman came back from holiday to find her Atlanta home had been mistakenly demolished while she was away.

Susan Hodgson found a pile of rubble in place of what used to be her long-time family property when she returned from holiday, she told WAGA-TV.

  1. I'm not big on lawsuits, but between the boneheaded mistake the contractor made and the attitude he copped I'd be calling the best attorney I could find and showing him the same courtesy he showed me and my neighbor. Which is none.

  2. > The house did not have anyone living there when it was demolished. Ms Hodgson said: "We keep it boarded, covered, grass cut, and the yard is clean. The taxes are paid and everything is up on it."

I think what she meant to say was "Oh no!!! My priceless art including the Mona Lisa and some shitty $5,000,000,000 painting from Joe Biden's crackhead son was in there....this is gonna be an expensive check y'all have to write"

    1. Yeah, that was about my thought too. It was empty, boarded up, and had been for years and years. Probably increased the value of the place to knock the house down. Maybe charge them to remove the rubble. And maybe just thank them for saving you some work.

    1. Well, neither can the magic blue uniformed pigs. At least no dogs were shot.

  5. The whole story sounds so casual. Yeah, they wrecked our house and we're waiting for an apology...

  6. Shit, file changes against them. Criminal trespass, destruction of property and I’m sure a whole bunch more that I’ve never been charged with when I was a kid.
