I guess you didn’t notice that lock on the rear wheel in front of the rear rack on the brake bridge. It might look like a brake but it isn’t. That is a very common style of lock in Europe.
IIRC this was on R/Mildly Infuriating a few weeks (Reddit). It's a technique bike thieves use and they will be back to steal the other bike. The first bike it usually cheap or stolen and judging by the rust, probably old junk just for this purpose.

ReplyDeleteBlue bike isn't locked up properly either. Supposed to lock the frame and rear wheel (with the expensive derailleur) to the rack.
