Newsom signs bill advancing universal health care, vetoes insulin price cap
SACRAMENTO -- On Saturday Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the approval of Senate Bill 770, introduced by Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco). The legislation advances tangible steps toward securing universal health coverage in California. It would direct the California Health and Human Services Agency (HHS) to work with the federal government to outline the requirements of a federal waiver application.

I saw how "government run" health care run in Europe where the ranks are filled with bureaucratic pen pushers who got their jobs as political favors. The elites like the politicians don't need it they can afford "private health care". The welfare slugs get it free after waiting for months to see a doctor, and think that's normal, but the working class are paying draconian taxes to support it. Just wait you Fuckin' Californians you're gonna love it.
ReplyDeleteBut Newsome knows any plan the Californicators come up with will be buttressed by that luvvly luvvly Federal Money.
DeleteRecently I was on a webpage from an insurance agent talking about upcoming changes to Medicare.
DeleteA large number of the comments advocated for some form of universal health insurance. Some openly mentioned socialized medicine.
They called it health care because they are ignorant.
(Health insurance is not the same as health care.)
Many gave Canada or the UK as wonderful examples for what we should have in the U.S. Unbelievable! Why am I continually surprised by the depth of ignorance of my fellow countrymen.
The big difference between Canada/UK health care and U.S. health care can be summed up in two words: Wait Time.
DeleteGet diagnosed with a major problem in those three places and see how long it takes to get it taken care of.
I thought CA was already in trouble. This might seal the deal for complete destruction. The homeless and illegals were already overwhelming them. Now it's really going to open the floodgates! I'm going downtown and offering free bus tickets to as many homeless as I can find today. 1 way ticket to LA!
ReplyDeleteRickn8or nailed it. Fedgov will pay for this. CA is how this crap comes into the country.
DeleteI thought pedo joe lowered the the cost of insulin?
ReplyDeleteOnly a couple years after he rescinded Trump's lowering the cost of insulin.
DeleteJust wait you Fuckin' Californians, you deserve it.
ReplyDeleteSo inland Californians who are largely conservative deserve what coastal leftists demand? Did you punish all 3 of your kids because 2 of them misbehaved? Do you believe everybody should lose their 2A Rights because of violent crime in a city 100 miles from you?
DeleteIgnorant people paint with broad brush.
DeleteFor decades I have been telling people that there are a lot of conservatives in CA. Not just republican but actual conservative.
Too, they are not just inland. The counties of Orange, San Diego, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and a few in the north are all counties on the coast which until recently had been conservative. Nonetheless, many conservatives, though slight minority now, remain in those coastal counties.
In fact, so small is the county-wide majority of socialists, a county could hold a conservative tally in the next election even though in the last, say three elections the vote was socialist.
Don't give up on the state. Don't give up on any state.
It's entirely up to how close to the coast one lives in CA as to how crappy the local government is.. Sadly the majority live near the coast so shitty state government is pushed on everyone just like Chicago shits on the Illinois population...
