No no, Newsom doesn't have any presidential aspirations

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- California Governor Gavin Newsom is making a surprise trip to Israel ahead of a previously announced trip to China.

  1. Dear Hamas rocket launch aimers, ya missed the Big Guy, but you still have a chance to score.

  8. Here in Michigan, our governor the Empress of Lansing Gretchen Whitmer, has acted like she is Wayne LaPierre or something. She has been travelling to foreign countries a LOT! Reportedly to encourage investment in the state of Michigan.
Myself, I think that she is following in the same footsteps as Newsom. Word on the street has it that she would like nothing more than to be tapped by the Democrat establishment as the replacement for FJB, when election time gets closer. I don't know for sure, but I don't see how anyone from any political spectrum could really think that FJB will be the name appearing on the ballot for president come November of 2024.
Our loss is America's loss too. Whitless is the most liberal governor that I can remember here in Michigan. I believe that she is even further left than Debbie Stabenow, who is not running for the Senate this fall. Plus by putting her on the ballot the Democrats gain a female, with leadership experience, if you want to call what she has done to us here in Michigan experience. And what better way to ease Kammy Harris out than to quickly replace her with another liberal female?
All of these trips overseas are nothing more than to pad her resume with "foreign policy" experience. She certainly has not gained anything for us here. China is attempting to build 2 battery manufacturing plants, one in Big Rapids, in the northern middle of the mitten, and the other is scheduled to be built in Wayne county, in the town of Marshall. The one in Marshall is on pause because the people of the city filed suit, and Ford is now not sure that they can run it profitably. I think that means that they don't like the bad publicity. I have a few friends in Big Rapids, the city of Ferris State Univ. and there is substantial pushback there as well, but it looks like they are out of luck, and it will go through.

  9. If California Governor Gavin Newsom want to impress people, then he can start by cleaning up California.

    1. No cleanup necessary. He thinks the state is perfect, and to him it is.
Proof: When he came into office, the state's budget was $180 billion. Today it's $318 billion. In a Democrats mind, you can't get any more successful than that.
