OMG. I'm going go with the eyebrows as the most bizarre, that last paragraph is just our dear, freshly imported culture from south of the border. Probably something along the lines of, well if he don't want me, at least he still contributing to our household income. Lots of parents of a certain culture are just fine with grown men moving in and starting relationships with minor girls. 12 is a tad bit young, but plenty of them start popping out puppies at 14. Seems to be a thing with certain cultures. How dare us impose our values and morals on these people.

ReplyDeleteWhen my oldest brother's daughter was 16, she was sleeping with a 21 year old Hispanic dude. My brother was not happy, and got into an argument with his kid. He stupidly gave her a push, and she acted like an NBA player, and fell down.

The age of consent in Michigan apparently was 16 at the time. There is a move now to make the age of marriage in Michigan 18, with no allowance for parents signature. I will say that there is a difference between two young kids experimenting with sex, and a 20 something man sleeping with a child.
American cops and courts might as well try to beat back the incoming tide as to stop this bullshit coming in from south of the border. We've already lost the battle and the war.....
