    1. No. I used one on springbok, oryx and kudu in Namibia and it was great. Kid used it for springbok, oryx, warthog and wildebeest - did just fine. Factory 250 Noslers.

  2. Just about anything will kill them. I've shot Texas whitetails with everything from .223 to .375 H&H. Most kills were .308 or 30-06, overkill for our little deer but effective and no, excessive meat damage was never a problem. Shoot 'em in the shoulder and they go down on the spot. Toss that shoulder because when you can get five in a season you won't miss those shoulders.
