"The thug life chose me"

An 11-year-old boy was arrested after an attempted armed robbery with a knife in Santa Monica.

The incident took place on Oct. 2 near the 1300 block of Santa Monica Beach around 9:30 a.m., according to Santa Monica police.

    To me much of our judicial system is driven in part by the New Testament idea of turning the other cheek and that there's always redemption for the sinner. However, given these young perps already have priors (as have others like them), a bit of Old testament tinged justice mind be called for?
