  2. Amazing how some dopes don't believe wild animals are still wild animals. Oooh, we made a pet out of a wild animal. Yeah, right. Now get ready for the conseqences.

  3. yep, first mistake was 'rescuing' the fawn and attempting to make a pet out of it, the result isn't surprising

  4. I'm going to euthanize at least 1 deer next weekend at my buddies farm in Ga. Just made some venison medallions last week, making freezer room, Lord willing

  5. I don't think it was old enough to be in rut but it could have been Chronic Wasting disease, that's why they needed the brain .

  6. I feed deer in my backyard. I also fire guns in my backyard. If I’m going to harvest a deer, I go up to the top of one of my hills to do it, well away from my house, as well as the neighbors houses. I don’t consider them pets, more like freeloaders who are fun to watch. They are a wild animal and quite dangerous. Most people think only the bucks with horns are a threat, but they would be mistaken. Those hoofs are sharp as razors, even on the little ones. And all of them will kick and stomp anything they perceive as a threat. Or just because. Eod1sg Ret
