The ATF does not make it easy to track its progress in Joe Biden’s war against American gun owners and gun dealers, which is by design of course. ATF’s data is sloppy and sometimes contradictory. Updates are not published in a timely manner. Also, the number of Federal Firearm License revocations does not tell the whole story. ATF has started using fear, threats and intimidation to coerce dealers into “voluntarily” surrendering their licenses. These numbers are not reflected by ATF’s Federal Firearm License revocation data.

ReplyDeleteI had a Curio and Relics FFL for years. I would apply, receive my license, and order an old surplus gun now and again. Three years would pass, I'd get a renewal, renew, rinse and repeat. Not long after Obammy got into office, I received a telephone call from a man who identified himself as an ATF agent (it turned out he was a contract worker/retired military rent-a-cop) and he informed me he wanted to see my license, In/out record (not like a regular FFL, just a simple notebook list), and my inventory. Long story short the guy was a total dickhead, ill-informed, rude, and tried to be a general bully, telling me penalties for this, that, and the other. I told him how the cow ate the corn and that I would not be threatened and intimidated as I had done nothing wrong. When the next renewal rolled around, surplus had been drying up for years and I thought why do I need a thirty dollar license I seldom use that could possibly be used to criminally prosecute me. Now, I believe that was the plan along.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it was the surplus drying up and having to argue with 01s about what was and was not a C&R. Sometimes even showing them the list of C&Rs wasn't enough; they'd make up shit like "It's not C&R because it uses 'modern' ammunition."
DeleteBesides, Fuckhead Joe Biden was coming into office, and whenever there's a Democrat in the White House, ATF comes off the chain.
About time to start show them the meaning of FAFO.
