LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT/Gray News) - A woman is accused of stealing and going on a joyride with an ambulance that she stole from a hospital, WKYT reports.
Police say Jericha Hays, 43, stole an ambulance parked outside of Saint Joseph East in Lexington, Kentucky, on Sunday.
Maybe they think if they get into a wreck medical help will be on the scene quicker if they'd purloined a meat wagon than if they'd stole a garbage truck.
Ambulances are a target of opportunity - often left unattended with the engine idling and the keys in the ignition.
Only a psychopath or other person with no care for how their actions affect others would steal something that will soon be needed to rush someone to the hospital, but we've allowed millions of those to be raised.
Sounds more like an incident in Ohio rather than Kentucky.

Some probably hope there's good drugs in the back... The rest just crazy or stupid...
