The Mt. Juliet Police Department said it responded to the Target parking lot at Providence Marketplace around 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10 after reports of gunfire, including a bullet that hit the window of a nearby Red Robin. Two off-duty officers who had been eating at the restaurant jumped into action before other officers joined them at the scene.

Person to person gun sales are legal in TN, I have purchased severrr... one, gun this way.
ReplyDeletePeople often ask if I don't get nervous, I mean, you know there is at least 1 gun and a pile of cash involved here (and yes, there are stories about snatch n grabs).
I bring my Malinois with me and leave the window down. He sticks his head out, 'nice dog' comments usually follow, I smile, "my security system. No funny business today."
Never had a problem.... I mean, that one time went real smooth.

1. it was NOT an online sale. It was a face to face transaction.
ReplyDelete2. Found the SUV in Nashville. Since they don't mention the owner / to whom it was registered... Stolen? I give it 90% odds.

4. Seller was ambushed and fought back. Kudos!
5. Many of us work to make a living, so you cannot always pick a daylight time to transact. So, the Police parking lot makes a LOT of sense. If one of the parties object, then cancel the sale, you probably don't want to transact with that person..
Never change the deal. You have no idea how many times here and abroad this one rule saved my pork skins.
ReplyDeleteAlways request a public place with cameras, aka walmart. I prefer whataburger, get me a combo meal after.
Pay cash, and take delivery.
If possible bring a friend. at a minimum, text a trusted friend when you arrive and when the deal is done with standing instructions if you dont hear from me in 5, heres my location call the sheriff, sont doget to text out when you get your whataburger. Thats just wrong.
Most of this should, could be ascertained, damn thats a big word prior to your deal. 99% of these oxygen sponges can be weaded, or weeded, G'damn not again, prior to any F2F.
And stay strapped for f's sake.
