A former Los Angeles area Taco Bell employee is suing the company and a franchise owner after she claims a Christmas party at the fast-food restaurant descended into a drunken mess that included open sex.
Back in the 90s when I was young and newly working in an office, there were a couple of Christmas parties that weren't too far off from this. Thinking back, all of the craziness came from the accounting department. Two married women and a drunk wife of one of the men throwing themselves at me in my early 20s. I've never really regretted not going for it, because the fallout would have (deservedly) put my life at risk.
All of the "fun" people quit one at a time, and I eventually stopped drinking myself. That was 21 years ago now.
