CONCORD, Calif. (KGO) -- Cellphone video recorded at a youth basketball game over the weekend in Concord shows what appears to be one parent punching another. The video first shows a scuffle among two nine and 10-year-olds, then seconds later a parent charging the court, even appearing to throw a punch at one point.
In the video, you can see the parent from the Concord team make physical contact with a player in the orange from the Pittsburg team.
Is it them Yogi? ...
ReplyDeleteIf you ever want to see low class humans behaving like animals, go to a youth basketball game and watch the parents. When my son was 5 or 6 we had him in the city league. The team had one kid who knew how to dribble. In the middle of the game, the big kid from the other team deliberately jungle balled our player to the head, knocking him to the ground. The little bastard then looked up at the stands at his dad with a questioning look "did I do it right?" with a smile on his face. Dad did a quick hand signal to tell the kid to act contrite.
ReplyDeleteEven more such stories can be told from when the oldest daughter was on the junior high team.
"If you ever want to see low class humans behaving like animals"...Stop insulting animals by comparing them to humans, anon.
DeleteI agree parents are the worst but if another man put his hands on my kid like that I’d be fighting too
ReplyDeleteWatch the video…..Yogi.

Wowsers! Still batting 1000 playing Guess-the-Race. Not like it's very challenging though.
ReplyDeleteParents should only be allowed to watch these games by video.
ReplyDeleteI went to an African sportsball circus and a chimpout broke out......
ReplyDeleteFortunately when my grandson was young enough to play recreational sports the parents and grandparents were cordial to each other... We did have one father that was talked to about his overly aggressive behavior towards his son as well as the other kids..... He never returned with his son which is a shame because his son although not overly athletic did enjoy playing
