#9- A friend used to have a Heeler that rode with him in a water truck while he watered logging roads in the woods. He'd snap at tree limbs as they went by until he caught one and it jerked him out the window.
If you look up you can see the gap at the surface, and that all of the gap except for a few feet (cleared by the guy falling through) are bridged by a layer of snow. You can't see the gap when walking the surface, it all looks like solid snow, and then you take the next step...
