There is no good story for #1, that much water moving in a building is bad news even on a ship where everything should be waterproof (or at least resistant).
#5 is the reason I don't like pitbulls. Every time a tenant got one I had doors chewed through, carpet ripped away, and other damages. They are high energy and need an outlet.
I regularly leave my pit in my truck or van for a half hour or more while I shop, and we leave him alone in the house for 4 hours at a stretch at least once a week while we travel out of town for appointments or whatever. He's never torn a single thing up nor has he ever relieved himself in the house. Also, I wouldn't exactly call him high energy considering he naps most of the day.
He's got some Catahoula in him, but the older he got, the more the pit in him came out. When he first showed up both me and the vet thought half pit, half Catahoula but now we figure he's mostly pit. The only Catahoula traits he shows now are his great nose, spotted coat and his mouthiness. Man, can that dog bark. Once he starts you can't hardly shut him up and he is LOUD.
#10 tells you all that you want to know about these people. They will overrun this country if we let them. And so far I’m thinking we will let them. I hear a lot of talk , but no action.
10. Civilization was lovely as long as it lasted.
