Looks like somebody discovered Granddad's copy of The Anarchist's Cookbook

(WKRN) — An armed Dollar General robbery in Houston County took an even more concerning turn after investigators discovered the makings of explosives in the suspect’s basement.

  2. Unless you know what you are doing, homemade explosives are a really bad idea. Even in the safest chemical plants, shit happens from time to time.

  7. From what I read, most of those recipes were more likely to kill the person making the stuff than to achieve the desired outcome.

  8. I ran into the author of a 5 volume series of improvised weapons years back. He covered everything up to biological warfare (homegrown anthrax and bubonic plague). Biochemist that got fucked over by wife, boss, and the courts all within 6 months. After 9/11 the DHS shut him down.
