So some county sheriff LEO stops at a sex toy store at 1 am or so, kicks the shit out of one of the employees, then takes off down the interstate in his Bentley before getting arrested, but now nobody will talk about it except the guy's boss, that despite not being involved in any of the events, that occurred outside his jurisdiction, is conducting the investigation and says that all he's doing is "...the same thing that we would do for any citizen out there..."
I couldn’t afford the maintenance on a car like that! You’re right! Someone should take a close look at any “public servant “ with that kind of disposable income.
Starker here, Also answering US68 It's called Civil Asset Forfeiture. That's how he can get & keep a Bentley. It's really a big thing with some departments. If unfamiliar with CAF just "goggle it" (sic).
So, another "law enforcement" official committing crimes because he can AANNDD while driving his personal Bentley, no less. I'm sure there's nothing nefarious about him acquiring a Bentley as his personal vehicle. Lemme guess. It was from a drug confiscation which should have been sold at a blind auction he presided over and he was the winning bidder at $1.00. But, but, but law enforcement officers would NEVER commit crimes. Nope, they're all honest and above board, completely clean. Did I tell you about this bridge that I have?
Maybe it's an old Bentley, imported luxury sedans with big engines depreciate fast. My Mercedes sold for $140k (Canadian) when new and I bought it at ten years old with 62,000 miles for $21k, the Civic it replaced cost me $22k new. Right now there's a 1991 Bentley sedan for $15,910, and a 2004 2dr coupe for $30k listed online in my neck of the woods. Al_in_Ottawa
A 2005 Bentley Continental GT goes for $25k within a few hundred miles of that county. It's not the purchase that's that expensive, it is the servicing of the thing. You get to look like a baller on a budget. Any major service, hell, even some relatively minor ones, will be catastrophic.
The store refused to give the cop LE discount on XXXXL buttplug ?! On the Bentley, word is he’s the head of an elite personal security / honcho protection agency as well as being part of a Pottawatomie county door kicker fugitive task force apprehension unit… not a ticket writer serve and protect cop. His mug shot looks like he might have anger issues was my first impression.
". . . a man drove south on I-35 in a black Bentley . . ."
ReplyDeleteA black Bentley? Why on earth would you drive a black Bentley when the Flying Spur is available in Tyrolean Opalite? Nouveau riche poseur.
The store owner's Christmas "gift" obviously didn't meet the high standards the Sheriff had set.
ReplyDeleteI looked up the story. A lot more going on here. The store was a adult toy store, as in sex shop. He and his girl friend were shopping for dildos.

At least he got home safe.
