LOS ANGELES – Gunfire erupted inside a home near the Hollywood Bowl Tuesday morning when a man shot his neighbor after the neighbor forced his way into his home and refused to leave, authorities said.
The story suffers from "journalism as a first language" as I was unable to sort out whose neighbor "Alex" was, and am still not sure whether he was the nutty neighbor suspect or the shooter / home defender suspect. My bad. John in Indy
If you have to shoot someone, the ONLY thing you say after that is "I feared for my life." and "I need to go to the hospital, I think I might be having a medical emergency." That way, you're much less likely to go to jail during the investigation. They will have figured it out by the time the doctors are done with you. Also, DON'Y TALK TO THE COPS! Tell them you want a lawyer.
