CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A new law in Tennessee aims to keep drunk drivers off Tennessee roads.

The law now gives police more information for those who use an ignition interlock device.

Many convicted DUI offenders have them. They must blow into the device if they want their car to start.

  1. Usually, it takes a couple of DUI convictions to get the blow-to-start device. If that's found not effective, I suggest instead of just not starting the engine if the breath contains alcohol a mini claymore be installed under the driver's seat that would detonate if it detected a booze breath.
