"I be cold!"

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man suspected of child rape is nice and toasty Tuesday night inside 201 Poplar. 

Memphis police say that as Memphis experienced snowfall Sunday night, 20-year-old Demarkus Davis managed to escape a patrol car en route to the Shelby County Jail, but quickly changed his mind once he was out in the bitter cold.

    I'm kind of doubting it was very toasty on that concrete bench with a thin blanket and the stainless steel communall toilet right by his bed

      It's surprisingly warm. Jail has that barn heat. Lots of animals.
