I bet family gatherings at Terry and Mary's were always loads of fun

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - A Bowling Green man has been charged in the murder of his wife following a dispute.

Terry Ernest Thomas, 76, was charged Wednesday morning with murder and receiving stolen property (firearm).

Around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to Bluebell Way in reference to a shooting.

The caller told police she had received a phone call from her father, Terry, who said he had shot his wife, Mary Thomas, in the head in self defense.

Terry told Warren County Deputies that his wife attempted to stab him, and he also said that his wife took a gun from him during the argument and shot herself.

  1. My wife stabbed me once. She was 9 and three quarters of a month pregnant, and cooking dinner. I opened my dumb drunk mouth and she turned and stuck me. I shut the fuck up, sat the fuck down, and she stitched me up. Didn't occur to me to shoot her. Still married 15 years later. She hates that story.

  2. I assume that was the last time she had to apply correction?

  4. Terry should have taken a few minutes to get his story straight.
