STEARNS, Ky. (WKYT) - The bodies of dozens of dead dogs have been discovered on federally-managed land in southern Kentucky.
The dump site, which was found along a hillside on Andy Watson Road in rural McCreary County, is part of the Daniel Boone National Forest, a U.S. Forest Service spokesperson confirmed.
I lived in the county just west of McCreary County during high school. We traveled there for football and basketball games. In the 80s, the nearest Chinese restaurant was probably in Knoxville, Tennessee. McCreary County is one of the poorest counties in Kentucky, as well as the US as a whole and has been for decades.
The least they could have done was bury them.
ReplyDeleteSo I take it that there are no Korean or Chinese restaurants nearby?
