The love story of an Alabama couple married for over half a century may have a somber ending, but their daughter says she feels they’re blessed to have left this world side by side.
The family of Tommy and Katherine Barron is devastated after the couple died within hours of each other Jan. 24. They had been married for nearly 59 years, according to their only daughter, Sherene Thompson.
