Commentary: Progressive Policies are Designed for Civilizational Suicide
We all understand, in the timeless words of the poet Robert Burns, that the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Most Americans are accustomed to assessing the various failed initiatives of our country’s leaders as well-intended actions that turned out badly. The Vietnam, Afghan, and Iraq wars, the 2008 financial meltdown, and the COVID pandemic overreaction, all in hindsight, can be viewed as simply the unfolding of human stupidity in the contingency of time.

...and that's why none of those perps ever end up in jail, no matter how evil their intentions really are. Take Hitlery as a prime example.
DeleteAnother indication that there's 2 basic types of humans. A small number are the Queens and the rest drones. Queens would rather destroy the entire colony rather than see the drones try do to anything more than exist to feed them.

The worst were and are malignantly evil.

ReplyDeleteThe problem everywhere seems to be that politics is a great career for useless thickos who wouldn't make more than minimum wage doing anything else. People who are capable of doing stuff do stuff, they don't get involved in politics.
ReplyDeleteTherein lies the problem.A century back, I think the outstanding pollies were individuals that sincerely wanted to help the majority;as difficult as that would be. We once were told you need to pay big dollars to get the best people. Yeah,that went well! We now get egomaniacs that have no fkn idea of how the real world actually functions! Career politicians...heads so far up their arses,they're inside out. Same issues here in Aus.
DeleteYou know, if we had a friendly relationship with the Soviet Union back in the 80's, we probably wouldn't of had 9-11, Iraq and Afghanistan wars...but the political war machine of the U.S. wouldn't have it.
