Don't have to spend a ton of money to make kids happy, best memories are like Dave and diaper box, I used to take a plastic sheet and make a water slide out front and all the neighborhood kids would come over, also used to go to Uhaul and pick up long boxes and make tunnels on a rainy day, make window openings etc, they could draw inside and out, make forts with couches and sheets.
"You must be this tall to enjoy this ride". Not this time - Way to go Dad !!

Dads in action. I used to tie a rope to a diaper box and drag my son up and down the hallway at high speed.
