"Haha, joke's on you"

  1. In light of these recent events, the Prattville City Council is considering a motion to rename the town "Prattfallville". The Prattville Police Department registered high approval, citing an appreciation of the alliteration of their department's new acronym, PFVPD, saying it would be a welcome new look for their uniforms and patrol vehicles.

  2. LEO behind swatting (and potential use of firearms unnecessarily) is as bad if not far worse than a seasonal firefighter turned arsonist hoping to called out to respond.

  3. "yeah, it highly irritates me and other law enforcement chiefs that are trying to keep the image of law enforcement being a honorable career"
Maybe the chief should explain why he's sitting at a desk being paid and not fired.

    1. Because of civil service and contractual restrictions, not to mention liability. Much as you'd like to, even obvious cases like this (or the murderer caught with the bloody knife standing over the victim) have to be given due process. "Alleged" is used even when guilt is beyond obvious; fail, and you get sued. People like this have nothing to lose anymore, so touch ALL the bases at every step.

    2. I'd say make the jobs 'at will' but we all know the next scumbag would come in, fire everybody and replace them with his family members.
