  1. I’m thinking #8 is anti 2A. And it’s certainly not amusing- at least not to me.

    3. "Outstanding. Those individuals showed what one motivated Marine and his rifle can do. And before you ladies leave my Island, you will all be able to do the same thing."
Gunny was a helluva motivational speaker.

    4. Stone Toss is right wing. Personally I found it hilarious. But then I also think Booth gave Lincoln what he deserved.

    6. I agree. Not funny. I tried to work out how it was pro 2A and couldn't. Yes, I'm officially a boomer (64 model).

    7. Oswald didn’t do it.
And Jack Ruby, aka Jacob Leon Rubenstein, ensured that he didn’t get to ever say it out loud.
Kennedy was against Israel getting nukes. Johnson wasn’t. Simple as.

    8. I didn't care for #8 either. I don't believe there was one shooter or that Oswald did it. Yeah, I'm a boomer, 56 model.

    9. Don't think it was meant to be funny.

    10. Dark humor is like food. Some people don't get it. (lifted from a meme with a picture of Stalin)

    11. It was the only way to stop JFK from a second term. Think about that over the next 10 months.

    12. JFK was rethinking Viet Nam policy and was probably gonna get us out of that quagmire. But there was too much money to be made by the military-industrial complex, so he had to go.

    13. I find it easier to believe that Oswald shot JFK without any help than that there was ever a government conspiracy that didn't leak like a sieve.

Now, it could have been a small group inside the Mafia - if they could keep where Jimmy Hoffa was buried secret, they could keep even this one. (Although my opinion is that he was never buried. The best way to dispose of a body in Detroit was always to lock it in the trunk of a junk car and immediately send that car to be melted down to recycled steel. But whatever they did, they kept their mouths shut about it with no exceptions.) That works only if it was a _small_ group of mid-level mobsters that _never_ wanted to be famous or rise high enough to be a known name, not including a boss or anyone else with enough ego to brag even to their best friend.

In support of the Mafia theory, Jack Ruby had mob connections and made sure Oswald's mouth stayed shut. But I don't know of anything that could have been a payoff to him ever surfacing, and even a dying man is unlikely to put himself in prison for the rest of his life just to be helpful.

  7. #15 And those 6 corporations are owned and run by folks with small hats and big noses. All of them.

  10. Fred in Texas.
JFK pissed off the wrong people. A readily available rifle and and basic marksmanship keep the government a little bit in check. The second amendment keeps the control freaks up at night.

    1. Apparently expressing a desire to break the CIA into a thousand pieces and cast them to the wind didn't go over so well with the higher ups.

  11. 8 is dark, but it’s not anti 2A. It illustrates that 1 person can have an effect if you believe that 1 man shot Kennedy.

  13. #16 has been a question of mine for years now...Goofy talks but Pluto doesn't. WTF was Walt thinking? Then he created Donald Duck who talks but you can only understand every 3rd word!

  14. #2, the girl in the background wearing a t-shirt that says, "Don't you know who I am?" Hmmm, wonder where this pic was taken and who she is...

    1. that's why they have the same type of faces, huh? it didn't take me long to look it up.

Goofy, the iconic Disney character, is often depicted as a dog. While his exact breed is not specified, he resembles an anthropomorphic dog with some resemblance to a hound or a Scottish deerhound.
