HOUSTON - A case of vigilante justice? According to court documents, James Lewis Spencer lll made statements, such as if the cops were not going to do anything to pedophiles, maybe he should kill them himself.
Bernie Goetz never killed anyone as the article says. He shot the four “youfs” that were robbing him, one through the spine who was paralyzed for life. Incidentally, it was that one who never committed more felonies. That incident shows you that a .38 snub nose is insufficient to get the job done, but is sufficient to stop the crime. He would’ve been. Better off shooting the one he paralyzed with a .45 or 10 mm. because he was sued by a POS lawyer who won $10,000,000 from a bleeding heart NY jury. Goetz did not pay it, but it caused him to file for bankruptcy.
I must admit that I find this situation somewhat confusing. Showers was, so far as I can tell from the published reports, a "convicted sex offender" for the crimes of (a) possessing child pornography and (b) failing to register as a sex offender for (a). Maybe I'm missing something here, but did he ever actually molest any children? If not, it seems that the penalty imposed on him was just a bit steep. I mean, if we're going to blow away sexual perverts, why not choose the people who make the kiddie porn or the ones who are, you know, molesting children?
The man was correct. The government isn't doing the job it's supposed to do. It allows known pedophiles to wander the streets. The only effective cure for pedophilia is death. Since the government won't cure them then the job is left to 'we the people'. Put me on the jury. Not Guilty.
