Things are not bad enough for the conclusion of the article to happen, things won't get better until they get worse. Should I care if the US is broken apart? The Fed govt. hasn't represented me for decades, and it is the source of most our problems and also the world's most malignant force. Should I care if NYC gets attacked, or even if most of either coast is? I'm not seeing why.

Depending on the when, I find myself in the same place.
DeleteOld habits die hard, though. I keep putting together kit. Hopefully it will pass on to someone that needs it and can use it. Slowly working with some young families in my area. I remember a comment from someone at WRSA. An older man. He was putting complete rifleman setups together, including rifle. As soon as he completed one, he'd start another. Too many young that have an interest don't have the finances. If you have the finances but the ability is in the rear view mirror, something to consider.
We will see more and more unconventional asymmetrical warfare.....right up until it returns to good old fashioned up close, personal bloody conflict. Which is the only way things truly get settled.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that nobody else has pointed out that none of this is actually new. The only thing that's changed is the tech.
