Welcome home, Dave

The homeless man who drove his Jeep into a crowd outside a shelter because he wanted to return to prison will never have to worry about that again. David Wayne Turner, 58, was sentenced Monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for murdering Michelle Jardine, 55, who herself experienced homelessness.

    1. His punishment was exactly what he wanted - spending the rest of his life with the government paying his room and board plus close supervision..

Until we can go back to hanging them a few days after the trial, that's going to happen sometimes.
