Your Friday Evening Florida Report

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - An Orange County deputy was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly choked, stepped on and hit his 13-year-old daughter with a belt because he was angry that she was using a tablet to help her with homework, according to an arrest affidavit from the Volusia Sheriff's Office.

  1. Roid rage combined with the "normal" stress of modern America and being a cop. Probably a few other issues in there as well, not a good combo. His life just went to hell.

  2. It's easy to armchair qb this situation, but he should have taken a hammer to the Alexa and then told this rebellious kid that her phone was next. We are all guilty of dragging this electronic crap into our lives. It has literally ruined our family relationships.

My BS meter was on high as I read this...
