FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - A heavily modified version of Senate Bill 6, which is now moving to withhold funding from diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) offices in universities among many other provisions, passed through the House Education Committee Thursday night.
It passed on the same day that Attorney General Russell Coleman handed down an opinion calling DEI policies in Kentucky’s universities unconstitutional.
Wow! So universities no longer pay people to encourage racism?
ReplyDeleteHow quaint.
Just look to Florida. I work at a University and I actually had an administrator tell me that eliminating DEI was Racist! But then again, anything they/them don't like is racist...
