In Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, Schweizer reveals how Chinese companies, which are heavily regulated by the Chinese government, are flooding the U.S. with auto sear switches, a small metal device also known as “Glock switches” that can convert handguns into machine guns. They are illegal for most gun-owners in the U.S., but are being shipped in boxes by the “thousands” from China, Schweizer reveals.
As with fentanyl, the Chinese government is sending the auto sear switches to sow chaos and death inside the U.S. as part of a “Disintegration Warfare” strategy, according to Schweizer.

Too bad I wouldn't own a glock if it was the last handgun made. I own a few polymer, stiker-fired weapons, mostly for capacity. They remind me of cheap Japanese toys from the 60's. Fun to play with, but i wouldn't bet my life on one. Eod1sg Ret

It's an anti-gun argument to wring hands about China "arming criminals" with scary machine guns, which would be legal if the second amendment was actually followed. A full auto handgun is about as useful as tits on a bull anyway. The only thing worth being mad about is that our full auto gun parts should be produced domestically instead of being imported.
ReplyDeleteI have a fair amount of trigger time with Post-May Dealer Sample Glocks equipped with such sears - they’re anything BUT useless in trained hands. They are extremely controllable and make accurate center-mass bursts of 4-7 rounds in a fraction of a second, or you can sweep a typical room - or car - right to left in a 90-deg arc and put a bullet every 10” right to left. No target in such a scenario is missed.
DeleteWe train individual LEO’s and Depts for immediate active shooter interdiction with these pistols, specifically making use of that intense full auto volume of fire to stop the threat instantly. At average classroom distances it’s possible to empty a standard duty magazine into a torso target in under a second, for an immediate neutralization of the bad actor.
These devices have a great deal of utility and effectiveness in the limited scenarios they were designed for.

ReplyDeletesources, the Glock switches there are between $25-50 each, available in all neighborhoods, and possession is almost never prosecuted by the Feds (unless you are White), and the gun crime itself almost never prosecuted by Chicago DA, while their courts almost never remand to custody pre-trial.
Seattle is as bad, but less reported on.
Well obviously we need more laws! Give them the tools they need to stop the carnage!
