And, if it needs saying, it is reported that over 200 million Americans took a combination of the shot and the boosters. When business folks are confronted with a situation out of their domain, they defer to the designated experts. The experts in the medical community were considered the best minds in their field; he would have been justified in seeking their advice.
DeleteA scientist looks at the facts, questions the hypotheses, analyzes the available data, and makes a decision on cold data, not feelings and promises. I am a scientist. I looked at several medical studies, I read the info on the clot shot, I surveyed the literature about alternate remedies. I determined that injecting myself with manufactured RNA was the worst possible thing I could do because I have a rudimentary, if incomplete, understanding of what would have to be done for an animal to allow foreign mRNA (which is normally derived from DNA) to not be immediately destroyed by the immune response of the host animal.
This all completely outside of DJT's wheelhouse, as the saying goes. So, I don't fault him for what happened there. But, I do recall that our economy was the best that it had been in many years and we had the respect of our allies and our enemies.
