Shall we join the crowd?

Angry shoppers are boycotting Tyson Foods products as the $53-million meat firm shutters plants in Iowa and elsewhere while hiring thousands of asylum seekers at job fairs in New York.

Campaigners are urging consumers to stop buying Tyson products amid its wave of closures of poultry- and meat-processing plants across Iowa, Virginia, Arkansas, Indiana, and Missouri.

They point to Tyson's efforts to hire thousands of asylum seekers in New York, offering $16.50-an-hour wages and free immigration lawyers, accusing the firm of ditching US-born workers for cheaper migrant labor.

  1. Cue my shocked face. I left Tyson's years ago. Would not eat anything they sell.

  2. Tyson has been doing similar hiring practices since before the Clinton administration. I seem to recall thy got fined because they were not checking the workers' status.

  3. I saw a video earlier highlighting this pathetic situation. It's part of the Democrat master plan to legitimize millions of illegals and turn them into voting slaves. You think the large wheat, corn and other vegetable farm owners haven't jumped on the gravy train too? The progressives are constantly on the march to attain their totalitarian nirvana while the conservatives want to play fair and just enjoy their lives. Wanna bet on the eventual winner?

  5. Slave labor is a growth industry.
Let's get labor costs to zero!

  6. In the 1990s I wrote to Tyson with proof they were hiring illegals. I demanded they stop hiring illegals. They wrote back to say they don't hire illegals.
Maybe a month later they were sued for hiring illegals. Tyson has a long history of hiring illegals and housing them onsite.

I tell everyone to avoid any Tyson product.

  9. Buy fresh chicken and other meat products from the local butcher. It is a little more expensive, but it beats Tyson hands down in taste and probably nutrition.

  10. Here's a list of Tyson's brands.

Sorry to see Sara Lee on the list, but decent cheesecake isn't hard to find. But Gallo Salame? The bastards!

  11. Can do easy; the only thing I'll lose is Ballpark Hot Dogs. Thanks for the heads-up, Robbie in Pittsburgh.
And I'll bet the $16.50 an hour wage isn't enough to knock them off welfare, etc. Just imagine, New Yorkers look down their noses at Southerners because some of us had slaves almost 200 years ago...
    Oh. Almost forgot.
    Fuck Joe Biden.
