    2. I remember when in Detroit, around Halloween the cops were too busy investigating arson by youths to have any time for other crimes. This might actually be something that improved when the whites fled - or else they just stopped reporting it.

  5. Any business that finds the need to employ a "community champion" has lost the plot of why it's in business. Leave it to the Brits come up with "not selling eggs or flour to under 18s" during Halloween. Freakin killjoys.
