As reported by blogTO, Toronto Police Service Constable Marco Ricciardi said, "To prevent the possibility of being attacked in your home, leave your [key] fobs at your front door because they're breaking into your home to steal your car. They don't want anything else."

If we did that here, would that be considered hunting in a baited field?
ReplyDeleteThat's because many people are of the opinion that, because you are insured, the theft cost you nothing and you are therefore not a victim.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can convince them to abolish police and fire departments. After all, people are insured against fire at a minimum, and probably theft too with their home-owners insurance. Now we just need to force everyone to buy life insurance so you won't ever have to fight an intruder. Next up, rape insurance so you don't have to resist and possibly injure your attacker.
DeleteWhat they are suggesting is to trust your life to some drug-addled thief in hopes that he does not find you, your wife or daughter attractive. Marco Ricciardi is a fu@king moron.
ReplyDeleteIts the toronto police, they also recently arrested a nan for walking down a street. Muslims had taken over the street illegally as an outdoor mosque. The Muslim's ordered the guy to leave so the cops arrested the guy for trespassing in a mosque ... Which was a street.
