Most of the moaning and groaning sycophants in the MSM will tell you that conservatives hate people of color, LGBTQ people, and immigrants. That is, of course, patently untrue. We don't like crime, big government, people who want to pervert children, and hypocrites. We are fine with people of color and legal immigrants, and an increasing number of conservatives don't care about someone's orientation. We can even look the other way if a man decides he is a woman and wants to hang around Home Depot in an evening gown and heels. Just don't mess with children's growing bodies and minds. Other than that, your life is your own to screw up if you so choose.
What irks us is that you are not content to live your lives as you see fit. You demand that we live our lives as you see fit. Do you want to know the nature of our beef? Do you want to know why so many people back Trump? That's why. If you want to live in a dumpster fire, fine. Just don't make us climb in with you.

ReplyDeleteBack in the day in British Columbia, there was a fellow who purchased an older home in the countryside and opened a bed and breakfast. He advertised pastoral peacefulness and other froo froo terms. A month later, he petitioned the local council to force the farmer next to him to move his cows away from the new B&B because they were unsightly and smelly - and council informed him all of the land, including his, was in a legally designated agricultural zone.

Then the farmer built a small pen with a shelter and added peacocks.
(BTW: the farmer HATED donkeys and peacocks, but he said it was well worth it.)
they need us to affirm that they made the right choice and agree with them. thats whats pisses the off the most, we just dont care what they do so long as it doesnt effect us or our families.
ReplyDeleteSome time ago there was a LGBT meeting in a german company (or government agency - I cant remember correctly) and the people were lectured about how correct pronouns were vital and not correct pronouns were life threatening.
DeleteThen one guy stood up and said that he identified from now on as "Great Führer of the German Reich" and that the correct pronouns to adress him were "Mein Führer".
There was total silence for five seconds and then the meeting continued as if he had said nothing.
I hope that when I am in such a situation I have the spine to do something like that.
But then I will loose my job.

DeleteThe things is, just like all the talk about all we need to do to win elections is do what the left does...vote early, use mail ballots, harvest ballots, etc, but the important point they fail to mention is it is not what the left does, it is HOW they do it. Vote early AND often, mail ballots to ficticuous people and harvest ballots AND help fill them out and toss out any for the other guy.

The North American Man/Boy Love Association, David Thorstad. When I was a boy watching 60 Minutes with my father, Thorstad was approached by a reporter on the streets of San Francisco.
