  2. Grace Charis. She thinks very highly of herself. Will play a round of golf with anyone. For $100,000. Yes, really.

  4. I hate golf. I think it nothing more than an expensive glorified chance for men to dress up like Bobby Jones, hang out talking how great they are and getting blitzed at the 19th. Having said that since her legs go all the way uo to her muff I'd let this babe putter around with my balls.

    1. Fuck Gold! My objection stems more from golf courses being subsidized by taxes paid by poor struggling folk (like me) that will never play a single round - because who would pay $20-$40 for a round of golf (not counting club etc. rental) if they're struggling to meet rent and bills? Much less on any sort of regular basis?

It's more aggravating the smaller the town is. In town of Cedaredge, CO, the local (HEAVILY) subsidized golf course (and attached restaurant!) has never once made any sort of profit, and meanwhile the average income in town is barely above the poverty line. And of course every time they "fail" they get bailed out. Again.

And it's all paid for with property taxes (i.e. my rent money.) And I'm given to understand that this state of affairs is fairly typical of golf courses.

Fuck golf! And everyone who plays it too! It's all rich people having fun while making poor people pay the bill.

    2. "It's all rich people having fun while making poor people pay the bill", my ass.

Golf was wildly popular with the guys I worked with at the warehouse I retired from, each and every one of them blue collar workers. My grandfather played golf and he was a gravel hauler. My father-in-law played golf for years, and he owned a gas station after retiring from the army. One of my old army buddies played golf every weekend until the day he died, and he was a mechanic.

    3. Eh, must be a regional thing then. I don't know of a golf course around here that's 1. privately funded. or that 2. doesn't charge at least $20, even with discounts. Also it's not popular with the blue collar sorts - at least not the constructions worker types I hang with.

I consider the Cedaredge golf course a particularly egregious example of government stupidity as they've had to raise taxes at least twice to cover its losses. So yes, charging the poor for the entertainment of the rich.

    4. My cousin’s HOA bailed out their golf course due to declining use. The problem for the HOA is the course is a central feature of the development so letting it go bankrupt would hurt the value of the houses. A couple similar situations near me were solved by turning the golf course into more houses or townhomes.

  8. You certainly don’t have to be wealthy to play golf in my neck of the woods. I loved it until medical reasons stopped me and I’m considering giving it another go. It’s a great game that even old farts can enjoy. A little hand-eye coordination is a big help and not everyone has that. Lol

  9. My "retired" job is at a golf course. Work 2 - 3 shifts a week hustling carts and sending golfers on their way, for minimum wage and free golf. Provides some cash to play other courses, and zero stress (job wise, the game can still be stressful lol )

  12. I love to play golf and I sure as hell ain't rich. It's a fun game you play against yourself while hanging out with people you like and most courses bring beer to you while you're playing. Every Army base I've ever been to has a golf course. Very few Army guys are what anyone would consider rich. And WTF is it here lately with this class envy shit? All the rich fuckers I know have created a lot of jobs for people. No bullshit free market capitalism is a good deal for everyone alive. If you don't like somebody, don't buy their shit. It's really that simple. Eod1sg Ret

  13. I used to watch womens tennis, but they started screaming on every hit. Not the same watching it muted. I did watch womens golf but they seem to focus on the older ladies. So womens softball and volleyball it is. How they hit a pitch in softball is beyond me.
