Distorted hands, big dicks, etc
A peer-reviewed science journal published a paper this week filled with nonsensical AI-generated images, which featured garbled text and a wildly incorrect diagram of a rat penis. The episode is the latest example of how generative AI is making its way into academia with concerning effects.

DeleteA good friend of mine also happens to be a college professor, so I asked him, how many of your students have tried to cheat on papers written by AI. Surprisingly he told me 5 or 6 already. I asked him what he does when he catches one. He said he gives them a 2nd chance to re-do the paper properly and get re-graded as if it didn't happen....or take the chance of getting an F for incomplete work.
