Howie Carr: MassDOT Secretary Monica Tibbits-Nutt is quite nutty

Monica Tibbits-Nutt, Gov. Maura Healey’s crewcut Secretary of Transportation, is a real nutjob.

In case you’re not familiar with this latest $196,551-a-year local poster gal for leftist lunacy, this Nutt is nuttier than a fruitcake.

“We are going after all the people,” she said recently at a public gathering of her fellow tree huggers and climate cultists, “who should be giving us money to make our transportation better.”

To elaborate, she said she is “basically going after everyone who has money.”

  1. $197k a year for this shit, out of my taxes, as I live in the People's Republic of Massachusetts. I guess I shouldn't be surprised as the Healey Administration is in "power" right now. I believe I remember Big Country saying he went to school with her and she was a real piece of work.
"They" are also working on a nasty gun control bill which I imagine will be clearly unconstitutional. That means my state taxes get to pay for one side of the court case and my federal taxes the other. Fucking Clown World.
Thanks for the Blog, Mr. Lane.

    1. I've clicked on it 3 times and never hit a paywall - once when I saw the article, another time when I scheduled it, and just now.

  4. I'm not sure if it's a he or a she... I'd go with IT. Regardless do not confuse "nutty"with evil. It is evil.

    1. And 'it' obviously believes Marxism is the way to go. Much like her boss, the governor.

  5. These are the stories that re-assure me that I made the right call to leave MA...not that I needed any, but still...

  6. MassDOT has already stated it wants to install toll plazas on highways on the Massachusetts border to collect money from vehicles crossing the border in both directions. Of course they would have to 'surrender' some of the federal highway funds for those tolls put on the Interstates. I have to wonder how that's going to work out.

  7. That’ll sure help with MA’s economy (not)! For $197K per year, “it” should have an understanding of basic economics. Watch the big exodus from Massachusetts unfold in the next several years.

  11. Though having been born, raised and lived most of my life there, I left the "People's Republic of Massachusetts" for good almost twelve years ago. Moved to Walton County in Georgia and am enjoying a much higher standard of living. Nice to live in an area where my Congressman and most of the residents share the same values. In the 2020 election, 74% of the county voted for President Trump.
