Imagine that

Some of the migrants charged with planning and carrying out a March 21 riot on the border in El Paso, where they overpowered and attacked members of the Texas National Guard, are now free after being released on a legal technicality.

It's unclear how many are now free, but the judge in this case stated that 'hundreds of arrestees' were entitled to individual detention hearings within 48 hours, reported the El Paso Times.

At least 70 migrants were charged over the March 21 riot that saw six hundred charge at a border gate, assaulting law enforcement agents and scaling barbed wire.

  1. This is why civilian militias have been outlawed, you know that right?

    1. When the judicial branch says the constitution doesn't matter as Acosta has done here, you are granted permission to form and operate civilian militias because the law no longer matters. Same with having to show a passport any longer - there is simply no reason. Laws are advisory in nature.

  3. Wow. I’m so shocked that Judge Umberto Acosta sided with his flesh and blood instead of with MuH cOnStEeToOsHuN!
Guess race does matter, and our magic dirt isn’t so magical after all!

  4. The judge in this case is a doddering fool if he thinks he's dealing with individual illegal border crossers. What we have now is an invasion by 3rd world countries who are sending their worst and dumbest, who hold NO loyalty to America, and are looking for any opportunity to steal, pillage, rape, and murder if anyone gets in their way. Personally, I'm hoping to see militias arise who will thin this particular herd by dark of night and stealth by day.

  5. Has anyone considered going in the middle of the night and laying out land mines and not telling anyone? Just a question.

  6. I said that one Spec 4 with a M240 could have stopped that rush that day. Sorry folks Abbott is not being serious. Until deadly force is the consequence for illegally crossing this will continue. You do know there is a legal process right? You do know there are legal ports of entree right? Post the damn signs in multiple languages regarding “use of deadly force”, then shoot the fookers, and leave them in place to rot. Again Abbott is not serious.

  7. Arm the men with live ammo, mine the border, and release the gators in the river. Anyone who makes it across send them to jail.

  11. There's that word again; "Entitled".
It's my understanding that only legal citizens are "entitled" to protections under the Constitution.
Where did this asshole go to judge school?
Gutting it every which way they can, aren't they?
