Perhaps the 300 blackout meme was misunderstood. When you attempt to shoot 300 blackout in a 5.56; the bolt slamming forward will push the bullet back into the case and the bolt will close. Then when the cartridge fires, the 30 caliber bullet attempts to travel down a 22 caliber bore. The rifle blows up. Ask me how I know this. Chestnut
Doesn't the nice fella recommending ammo to the Socialist Rifle Association member realize that .308 caliber projectiles might have a little bit of a problem making it down a .224 barrel? And that trying that might be hazardous to his health?
