After ramrodding AB 5 into law, Marxist Lorena Gonzalez resigned the CA legislature and became the head of the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO, whose primary goal is to unionize all jobs in California.
Acting U.S. Labor Secretary Julie Su, who is also a Marxist, is the person who is ramrodding these same regulations though the federal government. She is the 'acting' labor secretary because the Dems know she'll never be confirmed as a permanent secretary because she's a Marxist, a screw-up and a loser. In her previous career she was the director of the agency that allowed the theft of over $30 billion in uninsurance money to be stolen by thieves, prison inmates and overseas scammers.
Like Rush always said, when Democrats fail, they always fail upwards. And there's nothing but failure coming out of One-Party Rule California these days. Just imagine what things will look like when Gavin becomes pResident.

This was no, accident and the do know how hard it will hit free lancers. That is the whole point. Free lancing means the worker is free, uncontrolled. And they can't allow that.
It will hit freelancers and the people they serve. In my neck of the woods, getting engineers to do needed residential work is nearly impossible. Without freelancers, the work would not get done, and there are very few of them as it is.
