Talking about biting the hand that feeds. Palestinian terrorists on Wednesday attacked the U.S. pier being constructed off the coast of Gaza, the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported.
Gaza “terrorists launched mortars at the maritime construction site, damaging several pieces of engineering equipment,” the TV channel revealed. ” In addition, one person was slightly injured while running to a protected area.”

DeleteEntered the Army after High School in the early 80's and a classmate went into the Navy. He was off of Lebanon for most of 1983 while the USMC was ashore. Saw him again at a party one Thanksgiving or Christmas a year or 2 later and he said the US Ships off Lebanon were regularly being shot at in the dark by hit and run gunboats. Nothing too serious, just harassment. He was told quietly by one of the officers that is was the Israelis, which explained why there was no effort made to shoot back. At the time I was not sure if it was just a big story or not, but there was the USS Liberty incident wasn't there. These days I'm certain he was relating the truth.
Delete...and that aid package that just passed CONgress? $100M for Palestinian "humanitarian aid" that will be stolen by whatever is left of Hamas as soon as it hits the ground. In the meantime, the leaders of Hamas' political wing live in the lap of luxury in high rise condo's in Qatar feasting on the finer things in life, including alcohol, while the people that voted them into office starve.
