Trust me, I've considered something like this! It's damn near impossible to legally tow a camper and a boat, and the wife won't let me put a tow hitch on her Buick so she can follow me with the boat.
I did a similar setup years ago. But the trailer wheels fit inside the truck bed.Load the boat, lift the motor, close the tailgate, then lower the outboard. Hook to the camper and go
I pulled a 19' travel trailer and a 5X8 cargo trailer behind that all around the South and upper Pacific Northwest... Never got stopped or bothered by the police. I was a bit over 63' long. I have pictures to prove it.

ReplyDeleteAll ya need for a fun vacation.
ReplyDeleteThat boat motor is just looking for a low overhang.
ReplyDeleteBut the driver knows the coach height. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly simplifies backing up if the need arises.

ReplyDeleteWould someone tell me what the vertical black thing to the right of the motor is?
