America in the Shadow of Lawfare

The relentless criminal and civil prosecution of former president Donald Trump is an unprecedented weaponization of our legal system to attack a political opponent. The goal is to re-elect Joe Biden by any means, without regard to the rule of law Democrat prosecutors and officials pretend to be enforcing.

Beyond E. Jean Carroll’s so far successful defamation cases funded by billionaire Reid Hoffman, and failed efforts in 36 states to take Trump off the ballot for purportedly engaging in insurrection, Trump is a defendant in five active criminal or civil actions, and an unindicted co-conspirator in two additional criminal cases, all brought by partisan progressive Democrat prosecutors seeking hundreds of millions of dollars of fines and more than 100 years of prison time. The timing of these cases was coordinated to inflict maximum inconvenience and cost on Trump, and to make it impossible for him to campaign actively. State and federal prosecutors met in the White House to refine their cases and for purposes that have never been disclosed.

  1. It's the Progressive Democrats and the Deep State Republican's (99% of Washington D.C.) full court press to destroy the Trump threat and if that fails, I fear they're gonna go to the final solution termination with extreme prejudice. We (conservatives) know this legal campaign is bullshit, but we have to remember there are millions who actually believe it and others who only care about Trump's nasty statements. On top of that a massive election ballot fixing is being organized right now.

    1. On sword duels. Check out the 1977 Ridley Scott film "The Duellists". Purportedly based on a true story, main actors Keith Carradine and Harvey Keitel. I have the DVD, on my top 10 list. My wife hates it, so I have to watch it when she is not around.

  3. The Lawfare against Trump has convinced me that the Republic is dead, and that the coming struggle will be about rebuilding a just nation of citizens worthy of trust. There may be fewer of them in the future, and the path from here to there may be hard.

    As for dueling, and weapons:
A book I read had a character challenged to a duel, where the other party backed out, because "a pistol bullet could go anywhere, but a sword is bound to go somewhere. "

    1. The coming struggle? Name one good reason why I shouldn't think it's already here. Because it can get worse is not a good reason.
The rebuilding is already taking place.

  5. On the E. Jean Carrol thing, The original rape case, not the defamation case, who would believe that Trump walked into a fancy department store IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY in Manhattan, walked into a woman's dressing room, raped Caroll, then walked out while Carrol says nothing to anyone in the store, didn't ask for help, didn't ask for the police to be called, couldn't remember the day of the week or the approximate hour of the day, nothing. Same with that Blassey-Ford bitch in the Kavenaugh hearings or that other lying sack of shit in the Clarence Thomas hearings. It's all boooolshyte.
