More than 4 million chickens in Iowa will have to be killed after a case of the highly pathogenic bird flu was detected at a large egg farm, the state announced Tuesday.
Exactly. Pasteurize the damn eggs and I'll even use them in things I don't have to cook. And anybody who doesn't properly cook meat deserves everything they get.

If there really is a 'flu', some birds will die, then you breed the the ones that lived. Presto! Flu resistant chickens. (Same process that wiped out the black plague)
