Let me get this straight. The owner of the car knew the EV had steering issues, then loaned it out?
I don't know about you, but if any of my vehicles have any sort of control issues like steering, brakes or acceleration, I park it until I can get it into the shop for repairs. I damned sure wouldn't be loaning it out.

    2. Does the make matter? The manufacturer was VinFast. What a terrible way to die. May God comfort them in his arms...

  4. Yes, there is mention of the car maker: Vinfast. They are a Vietnamese company who have been trying to break into the EV market, and launched their first product a few months ago in the U.S. There are reviews of the car on Youtube; search "We drove the worst reviewed car in America". It's a nice-enough looking car, but other than that, well... (now) literally a disaster.

  7. "The owner of the car knew the EV had steering issues, then loaned it out?" Come on, he was aware enough to buy a fire bomb from a maker nobody's heard of . . .

  8. When I lived in Cali, I used to work right next to where that happened. Drove that road every day in my old s10, often gacked outta my gourd. That section of the road is straight- no curves in it, in a nice town.

Me and my coworker/friend both left that shithole state for utah.
